Ethiopotash is committed to sustainable potash mining, providing essential plant nutrients—potassium and sulphur—to support global food security. We utilize environmentally friendly solution mining technology to extract and process Sulphate of Potash (SOP) with minimal environmental impact.
Unlike conventional mining methods, we employ solution mining, which minimizes land disturbance, reduces water consumption, and lowers carbon emissions by 80% compared to traditional SOP production methods. Our ESG-focused approach ensures long-term environmental and community benefits.
SOP is a premium potassium fertilizer that enhances crop quality, water efficiency, and disease resistance. It also contains sulphur, a critical nutrient for protein and enzyme formation in plants, improving overall food nutrition.
